The story starts in Central Minnesota known for its brutal cold winters. During the years of 2001 to 2003, numerous college students were abducted and never found in eastern Wisconsin and Minnesota. The victims that were found drowned in a river that was always in close proximity to the campus or downtown.
The stories three protagonists are a rural sheriff's deputy, a factory worker with medium capabilities and a FBI profiler. The main serial killer of the story breaks all traditional typecasts. He is a successful well educated businessman with strong ties to his community.
The story also describes the abduction of a college student from a large mall in broad daylight and the plight of a young college student from eastern Wisconsin who fakes her own abduction.
It documents what the community and law enforcement goes through when young victims disappear from their jurisdictions.
I believe this story will be interesting and captivating to a large demographic audience. It gives a possible scenario of what might have happened to some of these missing students. Unfortunately the mysterious drownings and abductions are still taking place today.
